Venod Sharma's Efforts for Economic Development in Haryana

Venod Sharma is synonym of development in Haryana. All his efforts and initiatives are always focussed to make Haryana economically strong and self reliant. He believes that if every village gets developed and becomes self reliant then whole state will automatically prosper. He has always believed in creating jobs and opportunities in the villages of Haryana. In his political career, he has continuously travelled across Haryana to explore new avenues of economic growth.

Venod Sharma was the pioneer, who had envisaged the setting up of IMT in Ambala. He wanted that not only Ambala, but its neighbouring districts to benefit from the wave of development. But because of the selfish interests of few politicians the setting up of IMT Ambala was scrapped. Had that project been implemented it would had given immense boast to infrastructure in the region, thousands would have got jobs and it would have fast forwarded Haryana’s growth story.

Venod Sharma has been advocating that all regions of the Haryana should get equal opportunities of growth. Economic development should not be restricted to only few selected districts. At present, only Rohtak region is getting benefits of growth whereas the whole GT Road stretch, from Sonipat to Yamuna nagar has been totally ignored.

Venod Sharma has been interacting with people across the state. He has been holding meetings, so that people become aware about their rights and demand results from their elected representatives. Venod Sharma believes that economic development will come to Haryana with small steps. In this, agriculture reforms will have great to play. Newer ways of irrigation, scientific techniques of grain storage will be pivotal for the second wave of green revolution in Haryana. Once agriculture sector improves, people will have more cash with them for spending, which help the consumer goods industry. Efforts done by Venod are really commendable.
